Running the Rat Race
I have been so busy that I’ve hardly had the time to update my blog.
I read all the latest news and happenings, but between getting to know all the ins-and-outs of this new position, and Joey and my hectic social life, I don’t have the time to post it to my blog.
Some fun things found this week include Google Moon. Like Google Earth, you can navigate the moon’s surface. Turn up the zoom all the way to discover the truth about the moon!
Posts on blogging have been numerous in the last couple of months. Almost all my newsletters have something to say about it, and not many have a new angle on it, so it becomes quite monotonous to read 10 about the same thing. This must be one of the most hilarious posts that I have seen on blogging for a while. If you need a laugh check it out.

Also found this nifty site that lists most of the search engines found globally. It is categorized according to country.
Google announced a change in their adword policy about a week ago. In a nutshell they will be doing away with the holding status in the accounts. Instead, each keyword will receive a quality score and will be displayed once the max CPC and expected quality of the keyword meets their requirements.
MSN’s experimental Start.com customizable homepage received a few updates and bug fixes. Isn’t there a striking resemblance to that of Google’s Personalized Home Page? Anyway, if you want to closely follow the happenings of MSN’s Start.com, check out their blog.
An attention-grabbing blogpost on Search Engine Watch showed statistics by Pew Internet & American Life Group show that 65% of Americans aren’t sure what RSS means! No comment.
IceRocket the search engine brain child of Marc Cuban is to be launched as BlogScour. The strategy behind BlocScour is to search blog postings as the name so adequately reflects. On top of scouring blog posts instead of websites, the result pages will also boast thumbnails of the home pages in the listings.
