AlterSage Feeding Young Media Minds
Yip, it has reached that point of the year when young minds filled with theory are exploring the wide unknown job market and AlterSage is there to welcome them aboard.
Why? We believe they are the new breed of Online Strategists. Its innovation is purely second nature to them. Fresh ideas mixed with years of experience makes for a great combination.
Last week Thursday I did a brief presentation at AAA School which I thoroughly enjoyed. And if all went well, I at least past on a glimpse of insight to the exciting world of online marketing. 
AAA understand the importance of bringing Online Media to the traditional marketing /advertising mix, and from next year will have an entire module dedicated to this. There is so much information readily available on the subject online, but a lot of it is convoluted. It is important to have someone with experience guiding you through your encounters of the what, when and how to’s. AlterSage is happy to announce that we will be closely involved with this.
Our first intern started today, she is a Media Strategist from Vega, and we have some big plans for her over the next month or so, but we’re keeping all under wraps for the moment as we don’t want to seem too daunting lol…
Not that we could… She is not a newbie to the world of Online Marketing and her recent thesis was about Social media, amongst others: How to use Facebook as a marketing platform for business. A topic close to AlterSage’s heart, as this will also be the topic that we’ll cover at the upcoming Cape Town Facebook Developer’s Garage next week.
We look forward to seeing some interesting prognosis from her during her stay with us.
Our second strategist intern is starting mid November and is a UCT graduate, he will be with us for a total of 6 weeks.
On that note, we are still seeking some hot-shot junior XHTML junkies to join our team.
