Another Joomla! day has been organised for this year, just in time to give you something to think about before you leave on holiday! The first one proved hugely successful, and being a Joomla! user myself, was quite pleasantly surprised to see how many resources we do in fact have, not only in Cape Town, but South Africa in general.
There will be one in Cape Town and one in Joburg. AlterSage will be attending the Cape Town day on the 10th of December. For more information on Joomla! day, and to register, see the official Joomla! day site.

By no means new news, the FaceBook Brand pages and ads have somewhat evolved from the flyers.
Super easy to set up, and totally free, companies may now also set up brand pages in addition to groups on FaceBook for even more exposure. It does not cost a cent to set it up yourself, or to send emails from your group or brand page. It only costs you when you want to actively market it.
The nice thing about the Pages as apposed to the Groups is that you have guaranteed feed item display by your members (or fans as they’re referred to on Brand pages). Not only this, but you are also able to see statistics regarding your page, or any marketing you pursue from it as well. Not unlike a Pay Per Click/ Affiliate method.
If you or your company might need some assistance to manage your brand pages, or exposure on the FaceBook (or any other Social platform for that matter) don’t hesitate contacting us.
