This month, AlterSage has focused strongly on delivering high-quality web copy. We’ve always delivered a high standard of content, but it can be challenging to find the inspiration to be engaging and write clear, concise and persuasive web copy – particularly when you’re covering the same subject matter time and again. The many articles, web page creations and page tweaks can often leave a copywriter ‘stuck in a rut’ and without fresh ideas. The end goal of optimised SEO copywriting – conversions – can be forgotten when this happens. Copy starts being produced to meet work requirements, and without emphasis on target audience, brand or tone.

So, October saw a revamp of the way we think about web copywriting and how we do it. With the addition of a super-savvy new content manager to the team at AlterSage, our content has indeed become extremely well managed (see our blog post about convincing SEO copy). The style and quality of writing has been improved upon, as has the attitude towards task completion. Taking on a fresh approach to content ideas coupled with some serious motivation in getting exposure and ROI for our clients’ brands has made our tasks more enjoyable and successful.

One of the primary contributions to ‘getting our groove back’ has stemmed from believing in ourselves as writers, believing in AlterSage as a quality provider of full-scale and holistic online marketing services, and believing in our clients’ brands. We’re excited about what our clients have to offer and what we can deliver for them! AlterSage has always believed in our services and clients’ products, but October brought a renewed vigor to the copy team. When an editor proofs an article, enjoys reading it, and consequently finds themselves wanting to buy the product they have just read about, you know persuasive SEO web copy is working its magic.
